Privacy policy

This policy explains what Dmatian Media ("we") collects through this website, our phone line and our messages, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • What you send us through the request form: your name, phone number, email, address or ZIP code, the service you need, any details you add and any photos you upload.
  • What you type in this site's chat.
  • What you tell us when you call, text, WhatsApp or email us. Calls to our number may be recorded and transcribed; if so, you will hear a notice before you are connected.
  • Quotes, appointments and payments related to your request.
  • Basic technical information your browser sends to any website, such as your IP address and browser type, kept in our provider's server logs for security, and a count of page views and taps on the call button.

How we use it

  • To answer your request, give you an estimate, schedule work and provide the service.
  • To contact you about your request by phone or email, on WhatsApp, and by text when you agreed to texts or texted us first.
  • To ask how the job went or for a review afterward, by email or WhatsApp (never by text).
  • To keep records of the work we do for you.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Automated and AI assistants

This site's chat and our phone line may be answered by an AI assistant that answers from our business's information, takes your details and passes them to us. If you sent a request, our assistant may call you about it. Call recordings and transcripts are summarized automatically so we can see what was said.

Who else handles it

This website is provided by GoNorth (Go North Systems, Metro Detroit, Michigan), which stores your request, messages and calls and delivers them to us. GoNorth does not use your information for any other purpose. GoNorth uses providers to do that work: Twilio (calls, recording and transcription, texts and WhatsApp), Meta (WhatsApp), Vapi and Anthropic (AI assistants), Resend (email), Stripe or Square (payments), and Supabase and Vercel (hosting). We may also use service providers that help us run our business, such as phone, email and scheduling services, only to do that work for us. We may share information if the law requires it. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Payments

If you pay online, the payment is processed by Stripe or Square. Your card details are entered on their secure page and we never see or store them; we keep only the record of the payment (amount, date and status).

Reviews

Reviews shown on this site come from Google and are shown as Google provides them.

Text messages

Texts from Dmatian Media are optional. We only send automated texts about your request and its follow-up (replies, quotes, and appointment confirmations and reminders) if you tick the box to get texts, or if you text us first. We never send review requests by text. Sending a request does not require agreeing to texts.

  • Message frequency varies with your request.
  • Message and data rates may apply.

  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share or sell your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you use the chat, your browser keeps a conversation token so you can pick up where you left off.

Security

Your information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, and only people from our business who sign in to GoNorth can see it. No system is completely secure, but we take care to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you sent us, or to stop contacting you, at any time: (785) 480-8917 or dale@dmatianmedia.com. Reply STOP to any text or WhatsApp message to stop receiving them. Depending on where you live (for example, California and some other U.S. states), the law may give you additional rights over your data, such as knowing what we collect and who we share it with; you can use them through the same contact details. We will not treat you differently for doing so.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date above.
